PLAYING WITH UNPLUGGED TOOLS FILTER

This Tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP.

Please do not copy it in anyway or claim its as your own.

Any resemblance to any other tut is purely coincidental.

The tutorial was written and Created by Chiqui
For This Tutorial I used PSP X2

 

Materials:

 Filters

UNPLUGGED TOOLS
A tube of your choice
I am using the Awesome artwork by KEITH GARVEY
You need a license to use this art work. Please do not use without a license.
 You can find this   HERE
Fat font of your choice 
 Mask of yoour choice
(I used a old one mask I can't share because i don't know who is the creator)

Let's get started

Open new image white background layer 800x800 pixels
When we finish you can crop your raster.

Select a color for your foreground/ background
Create a Gradient with this colors.
Fill your raster with this gradient.
Now apply  Unplugged Tools / Wavemaker
with this settings:
Duplicate this layer.
In the copy apply
Unplugged Tools / Spice Dots
with this settings:
Change the properties to SOFT LIGHT

Layers merge - merge visible

Duplicate this layer
image mirror
Change the properties to screen

Layers merge - merge visible.

Minimize this layer

Open a new layer 800x800 pixels.
White Background.

select a solid color for your background
Foreground null

With your preset shape tool draw a 
shape of your choice.
Keep the vector

Duplicate this raster
In the duplicate open the sign +
in the sub-layer right click - properties
and change this settings:
 close the sign + and convert to raster layer both layers.

In the original layer with your magic wand click inside
Selections - modify contract - 1
Effects- penta.com - Jeans with this settings:

close your white background

layers - merge - visible


With your magic wand click inside of your shape
selections - modify - expand by 5
Copy and paste the background you already create
arrange down the shape
selections -invert - delete.
selections invert
keep selected
copy and paste a close up of your tube
selections - invert
delete.
Duplicate this tube
In the original selections all-float-defloat
layer new layer
arrange this layer down the tube
fill with a color of your tube (lighter)
selections none
go to your original tube and change properties to Luminance (L)
Drop the opacity a bit all depends the look play with the settings
Go to your copy and change properties to overlay or some properties
that work  with your tube


Go to the shape and effects - 3D - drop shadow 2-2-35-5

Now its time to add  your tube and elements of your scrap.

 I used a scrap that coming with this tube bonus from Keith Garvey.

Time for the mask

Click in your white background

copy and paste again the background you create.


Layers-New mask layer-From image, choose mask source luminance checked then go to layers-delete-yes,
then merge group. look my tag for reference.



Using your text tool write  a name or phrase of your choice.


Add the copyright

Save as a .png.
